Research on Target Market

 In my last class, I created a video that was meant to promote me professionally. In addition, I did a targeted search, because when you make a video, you have to understand the audience that’s going to watch it. In another language, I looked up ads from various companies for the PR manager position. In this particular post, I would want to share my results and thoughts about it. 




I was searching for the most suitable job on websites such as Indeed and Linkedin. On Linkedin, I found a job opening for a PR manager. If be more clear, the position is called Communication Assistant, which is perfect for my degree. I would want to work in fashion industry, so this ad caught my eye. Since the company is called Vivienne Westwood and belonged to a famous designer who is Vivien Westwood, I would be very happy to work there and immerse myself in the atmosphere of fashion and design. 


To apply for this job I have to check what I have to do during working on this position. The ad specified the requirements to be part of the company. 
  • Assist the press team in handling and facilitate editorial and VIP sample requests.
I do not have experience in this. However, it would be enjoyable part for me.
  • Assist the press team with ideas and drafting seasonal hot sheets.
I had experience in presentation of products, but I have not been drafted seasonal hot sheets.
  • Support the press team with all runway shows, London press days and events.
It is one of the most exciting part for me, because it would allow me to immerse myself in the atmosphere of work.
  • Responsible for maintaining immaculate presentation of the ready-to-wear and accessory collections in the London press office and showrooms.
I had the experience of presenting products from the store to colleagues and customers, so for me this part is interesting.
  • Check through and clip all UK & ROW print and online press for Vivienne Westwood coverage and credits, including VIP placements.
Since I have learnt Vivienne Westwood as a designer, I would be passionate to be in charge of promoting her company, which includes this section.


After anylizing the offer for the position of Communication Assistant at Vivien Westwood company, I can conclude that I lack the experience to apply for this position. However, I am passionate about her work as a designer. So, in future I woud aplly for this position.

Software testing: Flipping Book

 In this and subsequent posts, I would like to test the platforms that would help me create my journal article. In this particular post, I’m going to take a visual example of how I used the Flipping Book . Also at the end, I will share my impressions about this software.  First of all, I opened Flipping Book website and signed up with my google account.  After I registered, a pop-up window asked me to upload my material. Since I already had my project ready I pushed the button 'Download PDF'.  In less than 30 seconds, my project looked like a magazine(see below). After my project was fully loaded, I started editing. The first thing I wanted to do was change the background from gray to something brighter. To do this, I pressed the Skin button and chose the picture I liked from those you can see below.
