Oglivy  When I was thinking about advertising companies the first one that came to my mind was Oglivy. In the photos below you can see images of its website (Home page-About-Contact Page). I really like the Home Page, because it shows the work which was made by this company. All images on the Home Page are clickable and they present examples of Oglivy company's work. Speaking about the page About, I would like to point out that the creators of the site have inserted the necessary information and omitted the points that could be nosy for the reader. There will be a brief historical description of the company, then if you go down, there will be portraits of employees. It is an extremely useful feature because employers can see with who they will work. The page About is divided into four different categories: Oglivy, Team, Ideas, and Careers. Each category contains a lot of useful information for employers. The last page is the Contact page. This web page is made minimalist and simpl

At Digital Arts class I was creating my own website. To create a website I used a program called WIX . By using WIX I choose a template ''Artist''.The photo below shows what it looks like in its original form. I chose this because I liked the way the color was written, and the way the different parts were structured.  My next step was editing the main menu. In order to put all pages I need for my website, I opened the option in the menu of the editor called 'Site Pages and Menu'.  Then I pressed the 'Add' and 'Edit' buttons. So I added and named my main pages of the website, which will be in the menu.  After that, I started editing my menu. The first thing I did was choosing animation 'Fly in'. As you can see in the photo below I also edited this animation to the result I want to get.  After editing the animation, I went to the 'Design Menu', where I chose the 'Horizontal Menu' option. However, I wanted to change the font

Hello! My name is Viktoriia Kriukovska and I am currently studying at De Montfort University International College. My continuation root is Media with Communication.  I know languages such as Ukrainian, Russian, English, Polish and Czech. I finished art school when I was 14, so I easily understand how combine colours and create somethng new.  Most of all I like the topics related to the consumer's behavior in the Media and Marketing sphere. I’m interested in learning how advertising affects why people decide to buy a thing or a service. My passion for Media has led me to enrol on the course for BA Media with Commucation next year at DMU.  In the future, I would love to work for a renowned marketing company as a PR manager.    I added the photo and text that you can see above to the About page on my website. I did it by using the Copy-Paste function. You can see my result below.  I used themes called 'Headings 2, 3, 5 and Paragraph 2' to make people pay attention to my text.

In this post I would want to tell you about one of the most important person in the advirtisement(ad) history, because he was one of the first person who started to talk how audience communicate with ads. His thoughts are useful for my project named ''Pchycological influence of advertisement'', because he was interested in ads influence on people and he succeed. I would want to use some of his ideas as an examples and references for my project.  David Mackenzie Ogilvy was a British advertising tycoon. He is the one everyone secretly calls "Father of advertising". Oglivy influenced on the way we see advertising now. He became the founder of Ogilvy & Mather, which still continues its successful existence under the name   Oglivy . David Oglivy His occupation was Advertising executive. Initial Ideas on the Major project

I am going to change my continuation root to the 'Media Communication'. For this reason I chose for myself a project related to the effect of advertising(ad) on female audience. I started thinking about the ideas that would make my project happen. Since customer behavior is formed during the advirtisement viewing, I want to know more about the different techniques and strategies that are used to achieve high sales.   When I started studying how behavior is formed when people watch ads, I came across AIDA. This is the dominant model of advertising: Attention, Interest, Desire and Action.  The AIDA Model Made by E St Elmo Lewis 1903 Lewis 1903 From book 'The Advertising Effect' by Adam Ferrier and Jennifer Fleming Since ads are most often flipped through magazines and switched on TV there are two strategies that help avoid this. To attract the attention of consumers marketers use such strategies as humor and sexual imagery.              Pilates With Gerda: Carrying Too Mu
